Glow Plug - AG39 (12 volt) ~ Thread Diameter 3/8"
Supercedes 88G492 & AG32 (old 9 volt system) Simply bypass BTJ2877 balast resistor under the tractor dash (12H288 can be used for this job)

- 948cc, 1500cc, 1800cc
- Thornycroft 90 marine engine.
On the 1800cc engine you MUST check your thread diameter. Later heads take glow plug 13H2530 with thread diameter 15/32" which can be special ordered
Note: The original hole for the glow plug element is 0.138” (3.5mm), if aftermarket glow plugs have been used you may get a carbon build up which reduces the hole to the size of the aftermarket element. Use a 3.5mm drill to remove the carbon build up before fitting the new glow plug. See Video Below
